Prairie Oyster Shooter Recipe
Umami, spicy, with a little hit of burn. Try yourself a little shot of liquid courage and get ready to find yourself pleasantly surprised. Bottom’s up!
Ingredients
1/3 oz tomato juice
5 quail egg yolks
A few drops of Worcestershire sauce
A few drops of hot sauce | to your preference
a small pinch of black pepper | freshly ground
3/4 oz vodka
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the tomato juice into the shot glass. Use a spoon to carefully add in the quail egg yolks.
Step 2
Carefully add several drops of Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce around the yolks. Add the small pinch of freshly ground black pepper.
Step 3
Trying to preserve the different layers in the shot glass, slowly pour the vodka on top. I pour the vodka on a bar spoon (to help disperse). Serve immediately. Enjoy.
