Roasted Cherries Recipe
A savory twist on the good ol’ cherry.
Ingredients
cherries | pitted
black pepper | freshly cracked
pinch of salt
a tiny dusting of chili flakes | to taste
a small glug of olive oil
a bit of thyme
a bit of parsley | chopped
Instructions
Step One
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Meanwhile, pit your cherries. In a bowl, toss the pitted cherries with the olive oil, pepper, salt, and thyme. Once well coated, pour the cherries out onto a baking sheet or cast iron pan. Put in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes.
Step Two
Remove from the oven. Toss with the fresh chopped parsley. Taste. Adjust seasonings. Serve. Enjoy.
