Basil Oil Recipe
For bread dipping. For pizza drizzling. For pouring over perfectly grilled steak. For any moment you want to add a little extra pizzaz to your dish.
Ingredients
1/2 cup basil leaves
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon water
2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
Step One
Place the basil, water, garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes into a food processor and pulse a few times until well broken down.
Step Two
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the olive oil. Taste. Adjust any seasoning. Use immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days. Enjoy.
